Our orchestra consists of local players, OSU students, and professional musicians whose combined efforts display a high level of musicianship and produce a unique cultural experience for our audiences who recognize our advertisers for contributing to a high standard of musical performance.
Our 2010-11 concert season promises to be an exciting one. We'll once again present five concerts and, as in previous years, we expect an average attendance of 900 at our concerts. Our loyal audience of generally consists of OSU faculty and students and a wide array of professionals from our local community and neighboring cities.
In addition to our five-concert season, the Corvallis-OSU Symphony Orchestra will host two special concerts featuring internationally acclaimed trumpeter and Corvallis native, Chris Botti. We expect sellout audiences of 1200 for each of the two performances. These concerts will attract both classical and contemporary music enthusiasts of all ages throughout the Willamette Valley, including Portland, Bend, and Eugene.
Advertising rates for both the concert season and the Botti performances are outlined in our on-line Advertising Reservation Form. Those who advertise in our regular concert season programs are eligible to receive a 25% discount for a similar ad in the Chris Botti concert programs.
